Note:

★ The first few seconds we spend following a little fairy as it descends from the clouds. The view shifts, turning to a Castle’s training grounds, where the Guardians of Kanterbury are training. A newcomer is welcomed amongst the “most prestigious knights of the world” (quote by Marianne) by Eva Dealsalot. However, it is interrupted by an unidentified object approaching from the sky.

At this point, the first cannon is shot out of the monstrous mothership and it hits Bob. Linda runs after him. The next attacks destroy the fortress wall, causing all the Guardians to be scattered. However, before our Guardian could slam onto the ground, they’re enclosed in a blue bubble by the little fairy. As they place the Guardian on the ground, the blue glow fades away, and the fairy turs out to be a blond haired stranger. They stare at our Guardian, then run away.

The Guardian follows the stranger but she disappears on the way. They find Eva instead, whom they go with to the Throne room.

• Facts:

  1. The Stranger here is the Princess from an apocalyptic future, where the Guardian was erased from existence for over 10 years.

  2. On the way, one Invader says “Who is he? He looked a lot like us…” before we knock them out. The gender of this unknown person changes depending on what gender we chose for our Knight, implying that they’ll be essential to the plot at some point.

  3. We can confirm atleast 2 Godesses from people’s words: Promethia and Plitvice. Both of whom feature in Dungeon Link, the prequel to GT, set 500 years ago.

  4. One of the doors to the Throne Room was broken and off it’s hinges, implying that the room itself was attempted to be broken into. Perhaps by the Minotaur?

• Theories:

  1. One thing to note is that all these grunts are using bows and swords to fight us, when we know they have advanced tech. So, where are they getting it? We know have a mothership, they also had rifles and gus that shot green balls. Where are they? Is it that this is hinting at their shortage of advanced equipment, to the point that they’re underarming their soldiers so the good stuff can be used by the more capable? Or perhaps implying that their technology is stolen (contradicted by the mothership, but somewhat plausible)

• Analysis and Thoughts:

  1. The POV switch. We follow the Princess at first, then switch to Knight. Later, we revisit this same thing, but without POV switches. (Analyze dis)

  2. The Tutorial Sword is very clearly a meta reference, since it is a “tutorial” we are playing. However the description is interesting, which says “A sword you will never forget”. In contrast, there are wayy more memorable swords in the game, namely the Champion Sword (highly central to the plot) and Master Blade (the Tetis counterpart of Zelda’s sword), but in this case, while the sword wasn’t memorable, the name certainly was.

  3. From W11 Nightmare, we know that Future Princess was talking when the events were occuring. Not directly to anyone, but she was. How come, then the Knight did not hear any of it? It obviously makes sense logistics-wise, to shroud the stranger in an air of mystery and to make the player question things. But plot-wise…was it the sounds of the attack covering it up? Or was it, hinting at the stupidity of our knight, who was too absent-minded to hear that she was even saying something?

★ (explain after)

• Facts:

  1. When we meet Queen and The Princess, Princess says “Huh? Aren’t you…”: very sus

  2. Dark Magician, who we know as Beth, uses a staff. What’s that about? Does that mean she can use a staff but doesn’t?

  3. How does Cammie know how long Princess’ chains are gonna hold them? Sus

  4. Cammie calls Dark Magician He. While knowing that its Beth behind the cloak.*
  5. Camilla’s original intention was to perhaps lead the group to the ruins, find the sword since there’s no way she didn’t know it was there. The question is, would the sword have chosen the Guardian at that point, or would it have chosen Camilla?
